Saturday, January 25, 2025, in a preparation match for the qualifying phase of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean States (CONCACAF) for the Qatar 2025 World Cup, our Young Grenadiers U-17, after a victory [1-0] against Saint-Louis de Gonzague, lost against Violette AC [0-1]

Despite commendable efforts and visible determination, our young Grenadiers lost to an experienced and well-oiled Violette AC team, with a narrow score of [0-1] a goal scored in the second period by Jean Gardy Innocent in the 64th minute.

This match was a valuable opportunity for the technical team to measure the players' fitness, analyze areas for improvement and strengthen cohesion within the group in view of the upcoming challenges.

Although the result is not positive, the technical team remains confident in the potential of the young U-17 Grenadiers. The necessary adjustments will be made to refine the tactical and physical aspects of the training. The young Grenadiers will have other opportunities to progress and consolidate their preparation.

The Haitian U-17 team is preparing to take on a major challenge: qualifying for a third FIFA U-17 World Cup, after those of 2007 and 2019.
